Types of Events
Classes – We offer chances to come out and have a fun evening while learning something new about wines or spirits. Led by our Sommelier, Ken Bracke, these 2 hour classes include a guided tasting with pairing appetizers, insight and information about the topic, take-home notes and tasting information with prices, and 10% off all purchases made the night of the class. Pre-registration and payment is required for all classes.
Meet The Wine Maker Events – these special V.I.P. evenings are by invitation only through our email database. If you would like to come out and meet a well-known winemaker and sample their wines, while listening to the stories of how the wines were made or grown, please sign up for Sips ‘n Tips.
Pop Up Tastings – 3pm – 6 pm, occasionally, we open a bottle of something in the store for you to try. It might be a wine to go with a seasonal meal, or simply a new product we want to introduce to you. Tasting is believing! So if you are out shopping at West Edmonton Mall check our Facebook page and drop in and see what we’re pouring!
Having a private event? Whether it’s a wedding, bridal shower, corporate meeting, charity fund raiser etc. we can assist you with your beverage planning requirements. Email us or stop by and we will discuss ways to ensure that your next function offers your guests great wines, beers and spirits for good prices. If you are purchasing liquor for your event, we can also sell the necessary special event licenses.
Wine Tours – travelling to wine countries near and far is a passion for us. Drawing upon our many years working in the travel industry, we are combining our love of wine and travel and putting together some tours for you to consider for your next holiday. In 2014, we did a Bordeaux River Cruise, 2015 an Okanagan VIP Tour, 2016 a "Winos & Rhinos" South Africa adventure, in 2018 a River Cruise on The Duoro in Portugal and 2024 a Danube River Cruise and Hungarian Wine Tour.
