Pillitteri Carretto Gerwurztraminer Riesling 2024  Canada

Tasting Notes: Hailing from Niagara Peninsula in Ontario, this Gewürztraminer Riesling Fusion is highly aromatic with green apple, lychee, pink grapefruit and rose petal characters. The palate follows nose, with the addition of honey, ripe peach, tangerine and subtle undertones of honeydew melon. This wine is a great summer patio sipper, but consider foods higher in chili-driven spice, like Pad Thai and Indian Madras curry or Butter Chicken Samosas and lean, flaky fish like pan seared wild striped bass. This wine also pairs well with comfort foods like chicken wings, pot pie and BLT sandwiches. Delicious choice!

Tanqueray Rangpur Lime Gin  United Kingdom

Tasting Notes: There is a disctinctly exotic profile to this gin. Bold aromas of lime, juniper, lemon peel and ginger greet you on the nose; the palate is dry and bold with flavours of fresh limes, lemongrass, mandarin and bay leaf followed by subtle heat on the finish. The Rangpur lime is in fact more of a hybrid mandarin orange and citron. Intensely sour and highly acidic, it combines the sharp, tangy bite of a lemon or lime with the aromatic, floral, and slightly smoky notes of a mandarin. If a icy cold Gin & Tonic is your go to summer sipper, give this bracing and aromatic gin a try with a decent tonic. Refreshing and thirst quenching, it's a winner every time.

Tasting Notes: A surprising, affordable white wine in a very pretty bottle! This Chenin Blanc has a delicate nuance of chamomile adding depth and interest to the nose of stone fruit - apricot and peach. The ripeness of rich fruits – nectarine, apricot and Golden Delicious apple – is tempered by a bright tang of citrus peel and fresh acidity.
